Walking shoes Men

Walking shoes for men designed to give you and your feet the best conditions for lovely walks, no matter the surface. Your steps when you walk is a bit different from when you run and that is why a walking shoe is the better choice when you are going for a walk. We are proud to present our selection of established brands such as Salomon, Timberland, Merrell and Haiti. Walking shoes does often have a waterproof membrane, like GoreTex, that protect your feet against water.

WHEN IS A WALKING SHOE GOOD?
In the category of walking shoes you will find shoes made to walk in. You always have one foot on the ground when you walk, which makes the shock you get when you put it down is extended. Then you will need cushioning that is suitable for it.

WHEN YOU WANT TO WALK SAFELY
A walking shoe's grip on the surface is very important. To walk around in shoes that slides on the surface is both unsafe and annoying. A good walking shoe gives a great grip whether you are walking on asphalt or on loose gravel and snow. A softer rubber-blend provide a better grip on wet and snowy surfaces, but can become more worn out when you wear them on dry asphalt.

WHEN YOU WANT A STABLE SHOE
If you have a problem with stability in your ankles, some extra support with a higher walking shoe can make it comfortable for you. A higher shaft on the shoe prevent you from twisting your ankle and also protects against rocks and branches in tough terrain.

WHEN YOU WANT A WATERPROOF SHOE
A waterproof walking shoe is a popular choice and a great shoe to have at home. There are often a membrane in the shoe that makes it waterproof. Water and moist get stopped by the outer material first and if water is still passing trough somehow, the membrane will stop it. Gore-Tex is the most known membrane and if you buy a shoe with Gore-Tex you can be sure of its technical features. Gore-Tex and other membranes breathes at the same time as it is waterproof.
