The Brooks Ghost 17 GTX (men’s) takes one of the running world’s most popular shoes to the next level, now featuring a waterproof GTX upper that keeps your feet dry while delivering a soft, smooth, and responsive stride. Perfect for both everyday runs and longer distances.

The updated, slightly thicker nitrogen-infused midsole, DNA Loft v3, provides lightweight, softer landings and improved cushioning in both the heel and forefoot. Extra cushioning in the forefoot combined with a 10 mm drop offers a secure and fluid feel step after step, from the first to the last kilometre.

The upper features GORE‑TEX® Invisible Fit, bonded directly to the material for a lightweight, flexible, and breathable barrier against rain and wind. Meanwhile, the generously padded tongue and heel counter enhance comfort and provide a snug fit that adapts to your foot — the slightly flared heel collar reduces pressure on the Achilles tendon.

The outsole has precise flex grooves for a more natural heel-to-toe transition, and the updated rubber outsole ensures reliable grip even on wet surfaces.

DNA Loft v3 is a nitrogen-injected supercritical foam where microscopic bubbles are created within the material. This design results in lower weight, softer landings, and better cushioning. The Ghost 17 has a stack height of 37 mm in the heel and 27 mm in the forefoot. The forefoot cushioning has been increased compared to previous versions, and the drop has been reduced to 10 mm from the earlier 12 mm.
