Its thin and wide shape allows the lure to cut through the air and cast far despite its profile. In the water, it moves with a distinct fluttering action that works well both at fast retrieval and slower speeds. The wide profile causes the lure to sink more slowly when the retrieval is paused, while continuing to send out vibrations in the water.
