The Brooks Ghost 17 GTX (women’s) takes one of the running world’s most beloved shoes to the next level, now with a waterproof GTX overlay that keeps your feet dry, while providing a soft, smooth, and responsive stride. Perfect for both everyday jogs and longer distances.

The updated, slightly thicker nitrogen-infused midsole, DNA Loft v3, offers lightweight cushioning, a softer landing, and enhanced springiness in both the heel and forefoot. Extra cushioning in the forefoot combined with a 10 mm drop delivers a secure and fluid feel step after step, from the first to the last kilometre.

The upper features GORE‑TEX® Invisible Fit, which is bonded directly to the material for a lightweight, flexible, and breathable barrier against rain and wind. Meanwhile, the generously padded tongue and heel counter increase comfort and provide a snug fit that adapts to the foot — the heel collar’s slightly outward-turned shape reduces pressure on the Achilles tendon.

The sole has precise flex grooves for a more natural transition from heel to toe, and the outsole has been updated with wet traction, ensuring reliable grip even on slippery surfaces.

DNA Loft v3 is a nitrogen-injected supercritical material where microscopic bubbles are formed in the foam. This design results in lower weight, softer landings, and better cushioning. The Ghost 17 has a stack height of 37 mm in the heel and 27 mm in the forefoot. The forefoot features increased shock absorption compared to previous versions, and the drop has been reduced to 10 mm from the earlier 12 mm.
