Cross-country skiing is an art, and getting the most out of your skating requires good skiing technique. So how do you know what good skiing technique is? Swedemount, together with the National Cross-Country Ski Team, invites Sportshop customers to learn valuable tips from head coach Johannes Lukas!
To become really good at anything, you need to spend time practising, both with and without skis. Balance is an essential part of cross-country skiing and it is required to get the right technique for the skate style. Balance training can be done anytime, anywhere. Start without skis and when you feel comfortable, put on your skis and continue with the balance exercises.
Remember, no one has become a champion without training!
