The HOKA M Bondi 9 Wide is a running shoe that combines maximum cushioning with high performance, designed for running on asphalt and ideal for long distances and daily training. The shoe features a wide fit, a 5 mm drop, and is built for running on hard surfaces with a symmetrical cushioning platform.
The EVA midsole with a high stack height provides comfortable shock absorption in the Bondi 9, which, together with the Active Foot Frame technology, wraps around the foot for a perfect fit and creates a feeling of gliding forward, while the Smooth MetaRocker™ promotes a forward-driving running stride.
The upper is made from engineered mesh with zoned ventilation and contains 55% recycled polyester. The shoe has a 3D-moulded collar, an extended heel tab, and reflective details. The outsole features a segmented design (separate pods) and Durabrasion rubber in high-wear areas, providing flexible movement, better grip where you need it, and longer durability — while the moulded EVA insole delivers immediate comfort and stable cushioning for long, comfortable runs.
Smooth MetaRocker™ is a rocker-shaped midsole geometry that, combined with cushioning midsole materials, guides the foot’s roll from landing to toe-off for a more efficient stride progression.
Active Foot Frame™ is a sole design that allows the foot to sit in a recessed cradle, offering enveloping support, lateral stability, and a secure feel while maintaining soft cushioning.
