The HOKA M Bondi 9 is a running shoe that combines maximum cushioning with high performance, designed for running on asphalt and ideal for long distances and daily training. The shoe features a 5 mm drop and is built for hard surfaces, based on a symmetrical cushioning platform.
The EVA midsole with an elevated sole (high stack height) provides comfortable shock absorption in the Bondi 9. Together with Active Foot Frame technology, it wraps the ankle for a perfect fit, creating a feeling of gliding forward while the Smooth MetaRocker™ delivers a propulsive running stride.
The upper is made of engineered mesh with zoned ventilation and contains 55% recycled polyester. The shoe has a 3D-moulded collar, extended heel tab, and reflective details. The outsole is constructed with a segmented sole (separate pods) and Durabrasion rubber in high-wear areas, offering flexible movement, better grip where you need it, and longer durability — while the moulded EVA insole provides immediate comfort and stable cushioning for long and comfortable runs.
Smooth MetaRocker™ is a rocker-shaped midsole geometry (rocker shape) that, combined with cushioning midsole material, guides the foot’s roll from landing to toe-off for a more efficient stride progression.
Active Foot Frame™ is a sole design that allows the foot to "sit in" a recessed cavity, providing enveloping support, lateral stability, and a secure feel while keeping the cushioning soft.
